The Armani Group is pleased to announce the opening on June 16th of the first Armani Collezioni store in Beijing, China. Located in the China world Shopping Mall, this is the second store to open in Beijing after the Giorgio Armani Boutique opened in 1998.
Spread over 170 square metres on one floor, Giorgio Armani together with an in house team of architects designed the new Armani Collezioni store to provide a sleek open space to show the collection. To differentiate the store from the Giorgio Armani boutiques, contrasting materials were used such as sandblasted stainless steel panels and Lauropretto wood for the fixtures. These coupled with white walls and illuminated double counters with glass panels provide a light, spacious atmosphere, which is at the same time modern and accessible.
Giorgio Armani says "The design of our Armani Collezioni store in Beijing is part of the company's on-going strategy to strengthen and differentiate the individual product lifestyles of the house and symbolises our commitment to China as a key marketplace for all of the Group's brands."
The store will carry the Armani Collezioni collections for women and men as well as Giorgio Armani accessories. Armani Collezioni offers a range of fine tailored clothing, sportswear, eveningwear and outerwear for women and men, embodying all of the signature characteristics of the principal Giorgio Armani collection: clean lines and sophisticated colours, exclusive fabrics and exceptional attention to details, fit and finish, but at more accessible prices.
