Stella McCartney and H&M are happy to announce their collaboration for the autumn 2005 season. Stella McCartney will design a women's wear collection of around 40 items to be produced and distributed by H&M under the label “Stella McCartney for H&M”.
Stella McCartney comments: “Designing a one off collection for H&M is one of the most exciting and innovative ways to introduce my clothes to
a broader range of women.”
Following the highly successful limited-edition collection designed by Karl Lagerfeld for autumn 2004, the “Stella McCartney for H&M” line is a one-time collection that will be available at H&M stores in November.
The collection will be sold in selected H&M stores across Europe and North America.

Stella McCartney launched her eponymous label in 2001 as a joint venture with Gucci Group. The brand already includes a successful range of women's ready-to-wear, accessories, fragrance, eyewear as well as an acclaimed performance range with adidas. The Stella McCartney brand is distributed in 43 countries and operates three flagship stores in London, New York and Los Angeles.
