Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation today announced the promotion of Susie McCabe to President, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Stores effective immediately. Ms. McCabe will be responsible for managing all operations of the company's 144 factory stores, both domestic and international. Ms. McCabe will report to Jeff Sherman, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Polo Retail Group. She replaces Ken Pilot who left the company in February 2005.
Susie McCabe joined Polo in 1997 as a Divisional Planning Director. In 2001 she was promoted to Vice President of Merchandise Planning and Distribution for the Factory Store Division. Ms. McCabe's responsibilities grew when she became Vice President of Business Planning and Development for the Polo Retail Group. In 2004 she accepted an assignment to manage the Polo Ralph Lauren factory store business in Europe. In this role she streamlined operating efficiencies and tailored the merchandise mix to the European outlet market place. Prior to Polo Ralph Lauren, Ms. McCabe held positions at J.Crew and Bloomingdale's.
