We are pleased to announce the appointment of Gian Carlo Di Risio as Ceo of Fendi. He will report to Yves Carcelle, President of the Lvmh Fashion Group which includes, in addiction to Fendi, the Louis Vuitton, Loewe Celine, Berluti, Kenzo, Givenchy, Christian Lacroix, StefanoBi, Emilio Pucci, Thomas Pink, Marc Jacobs and Donna Karan brands. Mr Di Risio will take up his new position in February 2002.
Gian Carlo Di Risio, 46, was previously Chief Executive Officer of the Italian ready-to-wear group It Holding, and was instrumental in the development of the company.
