Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation announced today that Frank Attwood has been promoted to managing director and senior vice president of global manufacturing effective immediately. Mr. Attwood will be responsible for further developing Polo's manufacturing division globally, to support the company's expansion in key international markets. In addition, he will work with Polo's distribution and information services divisions to implement integrated supply chain management strategies. Mr. Attwood reports to Doug Williams, group president of global business development, and will be based in Hong Kong. He replaces John Cox who has left Polo to pursue other interests.

Most recently, Mr. Attwood was vice president of manufacturing for Polo Ralph Lauren. He has held a number of management positions in production and distribution and has effectively served the interdependent needs of Polo's many operating business units during his 11 years with the company. In addition, he led the manufacturing division's efforts in improving efficiencies and bottom line contributions.
